#50. Snapping Turtle

#50. Snapping TurtleUnable to pull itself completely inside its shell, like other Algonquin turtles, the Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina) resorts to defending itself with its jaws. The turtle's reputation of powerfull jaws and a ferocious disposition are wildly exaggerated, but just like other wild creatures, Snapping Turtles should always be given their space.
